Your initial visit will commence with a comprehensive assessment. During this evaluation, we will conduct a detailed discussion regarding your condition, medical history, and any concerns you may have. We will perform a thorough physical examination to assess your mobility, strength, and areas of discomfort. Following this assessment, your physiotherapist will provide a diagnosis and recommend a personalized treatment plan. This plan may encompass education, lifestyle management, and a customized exercise program as part of active rehabilitation.


ICBC Kinesiology

Ryan earned his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia and is currently pursuing his Master’s in Rehabilitation Science at UBC. He is fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English and enjoys working with individuals of all ages and abilities.

With experience coaching high school and club volleyball teams, Ryan is knowledgeable in injury prevention for both sport and recreational activities. He also brings valuable experience from working with individuals with disabilities, having spent two years supporting people with spinal cord injuries at ICORD and volunteering at adaptive sport events with organizations such as BC Wheelchair Basketball and BC Wheelchair Floorball. His main goal when working with patients is to support their return to daily activities and independence by developing personalized exercise treatment plans that meet their specific needs.

Ryan continues to stay active by playing in recreational volleyball leagues across the Lower Mainland and enjoys trying new sports to challenge himself. He is also passionate about music and cooking, and is always open to food and song recommendations!

Anthony grew up in Vancouver before moving to the UK to complete his Master of Science in Physiotherapy at the University of Birmingham. He previously earned a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia, where he also worked as a Student Athletic Trainer with UBC Men’s Field Hockey.

Anthony uses an evidence-informed approach combining manual therapy, movement-based rehab, and patient education to help bridge the gap between injury and performance. Having navigated his own share of injuries, Anthony understands the challenges of the recovery involved and is committed to helping you get back to the activities you love.

Outside the clinic, Anthony stays active through strength training, hiking, and running. You can find him checking out new coffee spots around the city and keeping up with his favourite teams – patiently supporting Borussia Dortmund and the Vancouver Canucks!

Anthony can converse in English and Cantonese.

Her treatment approach integrates manual therapy, active rehabilitation, and patient education, emphasizing realistic goals, a positive mindset, and long-term independence beyond recovery. She has a special interest in treating vertigo, dizziness, and concussions.
